Our concepts

ONE PHILOSOPHY. MANY WAYS OF ASKING "WHAT IF."

Our concepts are four ways of unlocking the same human capacity — through design, story, celebration, and discovery.

The portfolio logic

Every concept earns its place by answering a real WHAT IF and serving a real human need. These four levers hold the portfolio together.

DESIGN

Shaping the architecture, systems, and experiences that make change possible — before the build begins.

STORY

Painted Porch Strategies

It's Time to Do Epic ShIFt.

WHAT IF we placed people at the center of how we approached organizational change, starting with defining what you're becoming next.

Most organizations over-invest in being smart and under-invest in being ready. They announce ambitious transformations in town halls, hand the execution to middle management, and are surprised six months later when nothing has changed.

The failure isn't the ambition. The failure is skipping the architectural assessment required to know if the organization is actually built to lead what it just announced.

What it is

Painted Porch Strategies is an organizational design and change strategy firm. We partner with leaders originating strategic change to do the disciplined upstream work of Phase Zero™. Before resources are committed and before execution hardens, we co-architect the change narrative, diagnose the organization's true capacity, and equip leaders to navigate what's next.

We design the change. You own the build. We measure our success not by how long you need us, but by how confidently your organization leads without us.

The Idea Prospector

Ideas are the inventory. Strategy is the product.

WHAT IF the endless ideas and opportunities we see can turn into ready-made business endeavors for those who love doing more than dreaming.

Some people are brilliant at operating businesses, but struggle to come up with the initial spark. Other people — like our founder, Amy Yackowski — cannot stop generating new business concepts, acquiring domains, and mapping out the architecture of companies that do not yet exist.

The Idea Prospector exists to bridge that gap, turning raw ideation into a product you can buy.

What it is

The Idea Prospector captures, develops, and packages new business concepts into fully designed, purchasable strategic plans. We do the Wonder and Invention work — the market positioning, the revenue model design, the go-to-market strategy, and the domain acquisition.

Entrepreneurs and investors buy the completed blueprint, ready for them to build and operate.

StoryCraft Sessions

Networking. Pitching. Storytelling.

WHAT IF the way you development the skills for networking, pitching, and storytelling weren't perfected through learning more, but practicing more in a room full of people who want you to succeed.

StoryCraft Sessions was born from a shared belief: the most important professional skills are rarely learned by watching. They are learned through practice.

Created in partnership by The Funding Studio, Frequency Media, and Painted Porch Strategies, StoryCraft Sessions brings together professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, nonprofit leaders, and community builders to practice networking, pitching, and storytelling in a supportive environment.

Because confidence doesn't come from knowing what to say. It comes from saying it over and over again.

What it is

Most opportunities begin with a conversation. A networking introduction. A fundraising ask. A sales pitch. A keynote. A story that helps someone understand who you are and why your work matters.

Networking. Pitching. Storytelling. Not just learning. Not just listening. Practice.

The Moira-tizer

A digital atelier for linguistic metamorphosis.

WHAT IF we could take standard, run-of-the-mill words and turn them into the most floral, richly embellished prose with an unmistakably theatrical cadence (inspired by Schitt's Creek character, Moira Rose).

Elevate everyday language and communication into gloriously rose-y, overwrought prose.

Storied Sip

Drink the story.

WHAT IF the magic of a night out wasn't in the glass, but in the story unfolding around it?  room itself What if the stories captured from a speakeasy carried beyond the decorations and the drink in your hand?

A great cocktail is just a drink. A great room is just a space. But a story is an environment you can inhabit.

Most cocktail bars focus on what is in the glass. We believe the magic happens when the glass is just a prop in a much larger narrative — when the people serving you are characters, the menu is a plotline, and the room itself has a secret to tell.

What it is

Storied Sip is a traveling, seasonal, immersive speakeasy. Every eight-week season is built around a completely new narrative universe — a specific place, a specific decade, a specific cast of half-real people.

When the season ends, the room disappears, and the story concludes. It's high-ticket experiential hospitality for people who want to be transported, not just served.

CELEBRATION· Playful register

Ridiculous Reveals

Reimagining celebration, one ridiculous moment at a time.

WHAT IF we made everyday moments and the otherwise overlooked or mundane milestones a reason to celebrate with a party?

The world has a very short, very boring list of things we are allowed to throw a party for. Weddings, babies, graduations, retirements.

But what about finally cleaning out the garage? Or quitting a toxic job? What about paying off your student loans, or keeping a houseplant alive for six consecutive months? Life is entirely too short to wait for the approved milestones to throw confetti.

What it is

Ridiculous Reveals is a cultural movement that democratizes celebration and reimagines rites of passage. We provide the inspiration, the community, and the planning kits to help you mark the mundane, the absurd, and the magnificent moments of ordinary life.

From digital celebration prompts to full-scale event ideation and design, we are here to ensure that if you did the thing, you get the party.

I'm Too Much Club

No dimmer switch required.

WHAT IF we stopped telling people they're 'too much' and create a community where their full self is welcomed and celebrated.

If you have ever been told you are too loud, too intense, too sensitive, too ambitious, or too much — you know the exhaustion of trying to shrink yourself to fit a room that was built too small.

The world treats “too much” as a liability. We know it is a superpower. You were never too much. You were just in the wrong room.

What it is

I'm Too Much Club is a social movement and community for people who have decided to stop apologizing for their muchness. It is a celebration of the big feelings, the wild ideas, the loud laughs, and the giant dreams that the world tried to quiet down.

We create content, community spaces, and eventually physical artifacts that give you permission to keep your volume turned all the way up.

FULFILLMENT· Serious register

The 4th Path

with The F-Gap assessment

Forge a new path that takes you from unseen to onsite.

WHAT IF we rethink skills and work, and build a path toward life and career fulfillment where the whole-human (their values, their experience, their gifts, their brilliance) was at the center.

The traditional workforce model is broken. Employers spend millions trying to buy ready-made talent, while brilliant, capable people are written off because their skills don't match a conventional resume.

We believe the best employee is the one you build, not the one you buy. We believe in seeing the whole person, understanding what fulfills them, and decoding the skills they already have.

What it is

The 4th Path is a fulfillment opportunity platform and ecosystem. We partner with workforce boards, nonprofits, and employers to uncover the hidden skills and fulfillment opportunities for the modern world of work.

Through our F-Gap assessment and The Forge readiness engine, we translate unseen capabilities into in-demand opportunities — giving people a clear pathway to fulfillment and giving employers a workforce built for the shifting landscape.

Will This Kill Me?

A field guide for questionable encounters.

WHAT IF we could blend the humor of navigating this often amazing and sometimes tricky world with the very real things that might actually be a danger. It's part science and part satire for a whole new type of survival guide.

The natural world is beautiful, majestic, and entirely indifferent to your survival. When you are standing in the woods staring at a strange mushroom, a questionable berry, or a very fast bug, you don't need a textbook.

You need to know, immediately, if touching it is going to end your weekend. And you probably need a little dark humor to handle the stress.

What it is

Will This Kill Me? is an AI-powered photo identification and danger assessment field guide that's part scientific, part satire. Snap a photo of a plant, bug, snake, or other questionable item and the app delivers an immediate risk verdict — safe, caution, dangerous, or deadly — along with practical guidance.

Choose “Satire Mode” to receive your survival instructions accompanied by a roast of your outdoor skills, a little history and symbolism, and a darkly humorous, highly unattributable quote.
